Return to Essence is a powerful 6-week inner journey, where you will be supported to heal childhood wounds that block you from returning to your most authentic self. You will awaken the gifts of your heart and connect to the wisdom of your inner child.

This online experience will support you to grow in self-love and access inner experiences of love, freedom and joy. Inner child work can empower you with your relationships, health, sense of fulfillment and clarity of purpose. Expect healing, compassion, inspiration and a greater self-awareness.


Session 1 – Meet your inner child – Learn how to build a connection with your inner child. Begin a compassionate and loving relationship with the wounded parts of yourself and learn to reparent yourself. Discover how to regulate your reactivity, so that you can meet others from a place of love.

Session 2 – Release negative messages from the past – Discover how to bring awareness to negative messages that you have internalized as a child. Learn how to free yourself from what does not belong to you, and listen to your own inner voice. Learn how to be more authentic and courageous in your decisions.

Session 3 – Connect to your essence – Experience natural states of inner joy, playfulness, innocence and love that you were born with. Connect to your authentic nature and the qualities and wisdom of your inner child. Empower yourself to live from a place of inner freedom.

Session 4 – Release your role – Learn how to bring awareness to the unconscious roles that your child took on to survive in your family. Discover how to let go of false masks so that you can discover how to live from a place of authenticity.

Session 5 – Stand up for your inner child – Learn how to release old trauma’s, wounds and negative emotions from your body, and free yourself from the past. Discover the joy of fully allowing repressed emotions to flow through you. Stand up for your wounded child and give yourself the gift of freedom. Feel energy and vitality as your release old wounds.

Session 6 – Connect to your heart – Come to a place of safety, strength, forgiveness and self-love in your heart and body. Learn how to integrate the tools you have learnt into your daily life, and create a new life that inspires you.

The training brings together several healing modalities including guided meditations, inner child therapy, gestalt, regressive trauma healing, catharsis, and sharing circles. The workshop happens within a confidential loving community support structure, where you will gain practical tools, engage in interactive live discussions, and receive individualized support and guidance.


This workshop is for anyone who is committed to their inner healing, and who is seeking emotional freedom from the past.

  • Do you sometimes repeat destructive behaviours? (e.g. people pleasing, anger outbursts, passive aggressiveness, self-sabotage)
  • Do you tend to struggle with the same emotional challenges in life over and over again?

If you answered yes to any of the above, you may have unresolved wounds from your childhood. Inner child work can support you in the healing of your past, so that you can create a life that you love.


This healing method supports you to gain a deeper awareness of yourself, and create a bond between the adult you and your inner child. In doing so, you learn to ‘reparent yourself’ and release unresolved emotions.

Your inner child is your emotional response of today, which gets triggered by association. E.g. your partner say’s that he wants too spend a day alone, and you thinking “what is wrong with me”, “why does he not love me”, “why is he pushing me away?” “I hate my boyfriend”” he is so insensitive”. This unconscious reactivity can end up creating distance and conflict in your relationship.

Or you are unsuccessful at a job interview and your feel “what is wrong with me”, why do I always fail”, “I knew I wasn’t smart enough for the role”. These negative thought patters can sabotage your confidence and the possibility of you getting the job that you want.

These types of reactions are incomplete / unresolved emotions and voices from the past, which are seeking resolution. Through inner child work it is possible to bring awareness and connect with yourself and others in love. It is possible to experience life more peacefully and joyfully and increase the possibility of you getting what you want.

When you were born, you came into this world as an open book. As a child you had a unique nature and were whole, carrying all the essential qualities (love, joy, peace, spontaneity etc..) you needed inside of you in seed form. However, inevitably you received negative conditioning from your parents, society, school and environment.

As a child, you were totally dependent on your parents for survival and in your innocence and in order to survive in your family system, you will have taken on roles, fixed ways of being and absorbed negative emotions, fears and programs that are not consistent with your essential nature. If not resolved, these wounds can continue to act out in your adult life, creating unhealthy relationship dynamics, feelings of dissatisfaction, anxiety and unhappiness.

Inner child work supports you to release repressed emotions (anger, fear, sadness, pain, shame etc…) and reclaim your connection with your essential nature (joyfulness, play, spontaneity, love, peace etc…).

This work takes your through a step-by-step process, of awareness and self-love, where you learn how to release that which does not belong to you, connect to your inner child with compassion and Return to your Essence. This is a journey of deconditioning, releasing unconscious blocks and healing yourself from the baggage of the past so that you can free yourself to be you.

Your Inner Child Facilitator


Indra has 20 years experience facilitating transformational workshops and empowerment programs. He is inspired by the healing power of love and has a passion for growth and possibility.

Indra is an Inner Child Facilitator, with 6 years’ experience in the field. In addition, he is trained in various healing modalities including Gestalt, NLP, Life Coaching, Regressive Trauma Healing, Family Constellations, Meditation, Deep Democracy, Counselling, Breathwork, Sexual Deconditioning, Art Therapy, Psychodrama Therapy, Men’s Brotherhood and Wisdom work, Inner Teen Therapy, Conflict Resolution and Somatic Healing.

His has trained across a number of fields including: Osho Meditative Therapies, Primal Therapy, ISTA, Isha Foundation, Path of Love, Tony Robbins, Landmark Education, Art of Living, Vipassana, Byron Katie, Suicide Support Counselling, Neal Donald Walsh, Collaborative Coaching and the Coaching Training Institute. Indra holds a BA degree in politics, philosophy and economics and an Msc in Business and Finance.

Indra is also an experienced management consultant and facilitator. He is the Managing Director of BBB a training and organisational development firm, having delivered workshops with clients including USAID, United Nations, London Stock Exchange, Eco Bank, Grant Thornton, Vodafone and Total. Indra is also the founder of Auro Foundation, a non-profit organisation serving 200 underprivileged young adults in Uganda with vocational education.
