With a buzzing nightlife, a vibrant culture and a long list of fantastic restaurants, Nairobi is an ideal stopover for tourists moving on to their Kenyan safari or beach destination. Situated in Nairobi is also the famed Nairobi National Park; the only national park on the planet to have the cityscape on the horizon of the savannah wildlife. This national park is known to have the largest concentration of black rhinos, and if you’re fortunate enough, you can also spot the big cats. Travel to Kenya and visit Nairobi for its diverse culture alongside one of the other popular national parks for an ideal tailor-made holiday with Kannagara Safaris.

Finally, for those looking to learn more about the culture, take a trip to one of the Masai villages to discover more out the life of a Masai in their tribe.

Amboseli

Although Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania, Amboseli National Park has that perfect postcard view of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro on the horizon. Even though the park is a fairly small one in comparison to the other popular wildlife destinations such as Masai Mara or Serengeti, Amboseli is renowned for having elephants with the biggest tusks in Africa. Cover this national park in just under two days, and combine Amboseli with Masai Mara National Park for a safari holiday like no other.

Lake Naivasha

Located north of Nairobi, Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake home to a variety of bird species and an abundance of hippos. Samburu

When we hear of Samburu, we think of the diversity of wildlife that one can witness in this national reserve.
